5 Tips for a Wedding Entry Table that Wows

1.) HEIGHT: Start with an XL Statement Piece, making sure that it is proportionate to your table. I like to use 48″ round tables for my entries. I also love using urns for the bigger pieces because they have a great visual weight to them.

2.) VARYING SIZES: Add in 3-4 small to medium-sized arrangements to add layers. On this table, I asked Branching Out Events to make sure there was a medium-sized arrangement (the lemons), a few mono-bloom small arrangements (the garden roses, hyacinth and blue hydrangeas) and a baby bud vase (the peach ranunculus).

3.) COFFEE TABLE BOOKS: I love using coffee table books in lieu of an old fashioned guest book. By choosing something that is special to you and your fiancé, you are more likely to keep it out in your home so you can enjoy it on a daily basis. Looking for some? Here are a few of my favorites!

Gray Malin Beaches/ Great Escapes USA / American Cowboys / Architectural Digest at 100 / Yall, The Definitive Guide to Being Texan / Texas Made Texas Modern

4.) SMALL DECOR ITEMS: Funny story, I bought these “love birds” for this table, and I just completely did not notice the dimensions. Yall, when I opened these up I swear I bought “love chickens”; they were HUGE! But adding cute little figurines actually gives your table a very residential vibe as if guests were coming into your home. I should have gone with a few of these:

Silver Love Birds / Gold Love Birds / White Birds

5.) FANCY PENS: These gold pens look so fancy but they are are $12/pack on Amazon. Easiest upgrade ever!

A special Thank You to Sarah Kate Photo, Josh Adams, Arlington Hall at Lee Park, Branching Out Events and La Tavola Fine Linens for helping me bring this table to life.
